March 19, 2010. An email obtained under FS119 indicates that FAU’s President and Provost checked off on faculty layoffs that violated CBA well in advance of their execution.
“So Dr. Gupta I don’t think was there at the time when we discussed this. But Dr. Gupta this came from the College of Engineering. This wasn’t a decision by the administration—from Frank’s office—to let go a certain number of-of-of tenured professors. Based on the new reorganization it didn’t work.
