March 23, 2010. Let your legislative representative know that you don’t want your FRS retirement benefits reduced or be saddled with additional out-of-pocket costs to participate. Here’s how!
FEA Public Policy Advocacy (FEA-PPA) is receiving a positive high-volume response to the email alert urging members to contact their Legislators to express opposition to retirement bills that would reduce FRS retirement benefits and generate other out-of-pocket costs (payroll deductions).
However, a number of members who are responding to the email alert are requesting information on how to contact their legislators. I want to share with you the legislator contact information that I have been providing members who ask how to find contact information for their legislator. In the event that you also receive questions from members about how to locate contact information for legislators, I hope you find this useful.
You can locate the contact information for legislators representing your county or area of the state by clicking on the following internet link: www.myfloridahouse.gov
Look for the tab that reads “Find Your Representative” right under the blue bar and red bar at the top of the page.
