Engineer faculty vents frustration

Although the initial public outcry has died down after five tenured Florida Atlantic University professors were laid off in May, a recent survey reveals that there’s much discontent and worry among the faculty. The FAU Faculty Union sent a survey via e-mail last month to all 78 professors in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The five laid-off professors were in that college, and prior to the layoffs, the college underwent a structural reorganization. Read more at palmbeachpost.com
