February 12, 2012. Philosophy professor’s accusations of abusive treatment and antisemitism rebuffed in court

In November 2010 the UFF-FAU blog reported on a lawsuit brought by Department of Philosophy Professor Carol Gould against FAU’s Board of Trustees for alleged behavior against Gould by then-College of Arts and Letters Dean Manjunath Pendakur and other Arts and Letters administrators. In November 2011 an order dismissing the complaint was issued by the Judge presiding over the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. In an accompanying decision favorable to FAU Trustees, Plaintiff Gould’s counsel was directed to pay the defendant’s legal fees of $9,896.14.
