BOCA RATON — Florida Atlantic University has narrowed its list of 43 presidential candidates to five semifinalists, including the former chief scientist at NASA and four public university provosts.

The semifinalists are: Paul W. Ferguson, provost and vice chancellor for Academic Affairs, Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville; Terry L. Hickey, provost and executive vice president, University of Central Florida; Gary L. Miller, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs and Research, Wichita State University; Kathie L. Olsen, senior adviser, National Science Foundation; Mary Jane Saunders, provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs, Cleveland State University. Read more at palmbeachpost.com.
